SNOQUALMIE, WA – Snoqualmie Valley Health is proud to announce the launch of its new mammography services, the first and only mammography unit in Snoqualmie, expanding access to lifesaving breast cancer screening for patients in the Valley and beyond. Appointments are available immediately, with self-scheduling through MyChart opening Monday, July 14.

Located on-site at Snoqualmie Valley Health’s hospital campus, this new service features cutting-edge 3D mammography (tomosynthesis) with built-in AI algorithms that enhance image quality and assist radiologists in identifying abnormalities earlier. This investment represents a major step forward in local healthcare access and reflects the organization’s commitment to bringing advanced, evidence-based care directly to the community.

This project was made possible through the generous support of the Snoqualmie Valley Health Foundation’s Champagne Brunch fundraiser, which raised $40,000, and a $250,000 grant from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust. Together, these contributions helped fund the equipment and infrastructure needed to bring mammography services to the Valley for the very first time.

“Breast cancer screening is incredibly important. When we catch cancer early, it’s more treatable, often requiring fewer procedures, less pain, and less medication—leading to significantly better outcomes,” said Roxanne Hicks, MD, Internal Medicine physician at Snoqualmie Valley Health. “We’re thrilled to offer mammography services right here in the Valley, making this vital care more accessible to our community.”

Appointments

Patients can self-schedule their screening mammogram starting July 14 via MyChart at https://snoqualmievalleyhealth.org/appointments/ or by calling 425-831-2313, option 4.

This service reflects Snoqualmie Valley Health’s mission to empower individuals to live boldly by providing innovative, accessible healthcare that prioritizes wellness, fosters community, and fuels adventure. Whether you’re due for your first mammogram or simply looking for convenient, expert screening in your own community, we’re here for you.
