Angelina Holverstott
Angelina has lived in the Snoqualmie Valley for 20 years and brings more than 30 years of experience in adult education, construction, and property management. Her career centers on service and leadership. Originally from the San Pedro area of Southern California, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in recreation administration and communicative disorders from California State University, Long Beach. After graduation, she began her career as membership outreach director for the Girl Scouts of the USA, leading more than 200 volunteers in Napa and Solano counties to deliver a comprehensive Girl Scout program.
While working with the Girl Scouts, Angelina partnered with law enforcement to create a program for youth visiting their parents in Northern California prisons. The program, called “Talking with TJ,” focused on helping children develop conflict-resolution skills without using violence. During this time, Angelina also worked with local agricultural groups to expand educational opportunities for children of migrant workers. She later continued her work with the Girl Scouts in Washington state, where she focused on fund development.
After 16 years in the nonprofit sector, Angelina transitioned to construction project management and property acquisition, spending five years with a major real estate investment trust before returning to nonprofit work. For the past eight years, she has served as housing manager for the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe, supporting first-time homebuyers, coordinating home repairs, and assisting displaced members in securing housing. She also partners with nonprofits to support victims of domestic violence and trafficking. Previously, she was a portfolio manager with the King County Housing Authority, coordinating housing services for seniors, people with disabilities, and families, and supporting King County’s mission to provide affordable, inclusive housing.
Service remains a core value for Angelina and her family. In her free time, she enjoys designing and sewing dresses, spending time with her daughter, and learning from her husband’s expertise in emergency preparedness and culinary arts.
