SNOQUALMIE, Wash. — Snoqualmie Valley Health has been awarded $1 million in federal funding to support equipment for its $147 million HUB ambulatory clinic expansion project. The investment will improve access to primary care, outpatient surgery and specialty services for the growing Snoqualmie Valley community.
“This funding reflects a shared commitment to strengthening rural healthcare access and helps us continue caring for our community today while preparing for the needs of tomorrow,” said Renée Jensen, CEO of Snoqualmie Valley Health. “Every dollar secured reduces the long-term cost burden and strengthens our ability to invest responsibly in local healthcare, and we’re grateful for the sponsorship and leadership of Congresswoman Schrier with the support of Senators Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell, along with the partners who continue to advocate for our community.”
The HUB is an 85,000-square-foot expansion project which includes outpatient surgery, rehabilitation, specialty services along with community spaces, a restaurant, indoor climbing gym and an entire floor dedicated to expanding access to primary care services. The project is expected to be completed by fall 2026 and bring more than 30 new healthcare providers and 225 staff members to the organization.
SVH emphasized that the federal funding is one component of a multi-year investment strategy, complemented by revenue bonds and philanthropic partnerships to support expansion while maintaining long-term financial sustainability.
SVH also received $3.138 million in state capital budget funding in May 2025, made possible through bipartisan legislative support and advocacy from state and local leaders, including Reps. Lisa Callan and Mike Steele and Sens. Bill Ramos and Keith Goehner.
