Insurance Open Enrollment for 2026

Washington Healthplanfinder

Washington Healthplanfinder is the state’s official marketplace for health and dental insurance. From November 1 through January 15, all Washington residents can shop, compare, and enroll in health or dental coverage for 2026.

Healthplanfinder provides tools to compare plans, check if you qualify for financial assistance, and find coverage that meets your needs.

Cascade Care & Cascade Care Savings

  • Cascade Care plans make it easy to compare coverage “apples to apples” across carriers on the Exchange.
  • Cascade Care Savings offers additional state-funded subsidies for households with incomes up to 250% of the federal poverty level.
  • Savings are automatically applied when you enroll in a qualifying Cascade Care Silver or Gold plan through Healthplanfinder.

New for 2025: WA Pathways & WA Health Path

As of November 1, 2025, the Washington Health Benefit Exchange will launch WA Pathways and WA Health Path to expand access for residents who are not eligible to buy insurance through the Exchange.

  • Who qualifies: Washingtonians who cannot purchase insurance through the Exchange
  • When it starts: Enrollment begins November 1, 2025, for coverage starting January 1, 2026
  • Plans available: Any plan in Washington’s individual health insurance market
  • Financial help: State-funded Cascade Care Savings is available for WA Health Path customers with incomes up to 250% FPL (federal subsidies are not available)
  • How to apply: Continue to apply through Washington Healthplanfinder. Continue reading for assistance on how to apply.
