Medical Telemetry Unit

Medical Telemetry Unit at Snoqualmie Valley Health

Welcome to the Medical Telemetry Unit, a vital part of our Acute Care Services at Snoqualmie Valley Health. Our mission is to provide exceptional, patient-centered care guided by real-time cardiac monitoring and supported by a highly skilled, compassionate care team.

Medical telemetry is a way of closely watching a patient’s heart and breathing using special monitors. It allows doctors and nurses to track a patient’s heart rate, rhythm, and other vital signs in real time. Small, wireless devices are placed on a patient’s chest and they send information to a monitor at the nurses’ station. This allows the care team to see any changes in a patient’s condition right away and respond quickly if needed.

Multidisciplinary Care, Tailored to You

Our patients benefit from the expertise of a collaborative care team, including:

  • Medical Doctors (MDs)
  • Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNPs)

  • Physician Assistants (PAs)

  • Unit Coordinators
  • Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists

Every member of our team is committed to ensuring the best possible outcomes, clinically and emotionally.

“As ill as I was, in the beginning, I experienced patience, understanding, extraordinaire care by everyone!! Abundant THANKS!!”
