Snoqualmie Valley Health CEO Renée K. Jensen, FACHE, Named 2025 Chair of Association of Washington Public Hospital Districts

SNOQUALMIE, WA – Snoqualmie Valley Health CEO Renée K. Jensen, FACHE, has been appointed to serve as Board Chair for the Association of Washington Public Hospital Districts (AWPHD) for 2025. This one-year term marks a significant opportunity for Jensen to lead and advocate for public hospital districts across Washington state.

Jensen has more than 20 years in healthcare leadership within Washington State and is known as an innovative, transparent leader who engages with the community to bring transformational healthcare to the communities she serves.

“My entire career has been dedicated to healthcare, serving in public hospital districts and as a CEO since 2007. I am deeply passionate about the unique value AWPHD brings to our hospitals and the communities they serve. I am honored to step into this role and look forward to furthering the impact AWPHD has in supporting and strengthening public hospital districts across the state.”

Matthew Ellsworth, AWPHD Executive Director, stated that the association was fortunate to have Renée chairing the organization.

Jensen is also a member of the Washington State Hospital Association strategic planning and board governance committees and the Chair of the Rural Health Enterprise for the Washington State Rural Collaborative.
