Employee Recognition

At Snoqualmie Valley Health, we believe in recognizing the people who make our mission possible. From celebrating everyday excellence to honoring long-term commitment, our employee recognition programs shine a light on those who go above and beyond to serve our community with compassion, innovation, and integrity.

Our annual BOLD Awards Celebration honors individuals who exemplify our core values:
Build Trust, Obsess Over Excellence, Lead Innovation, and Deepen Connection.
Winners are nominated by peers and leaders and celebrated for their outstanding contributions to our culture and mission.

As part of our BOLD Awards, we recognize one employee, one provider, and one leader each year who have made a lasting impact on the organization. These individuals demonstrate our values in action and help lead Snoqualmie Valley Health forward with integrity and purpose.

Each quarter, leaders throughout the organization award engraved rocks to team members who exemplify our core values.

  • Each leader receives four rocks per quarter to recognize standout team members.

  • The CEO selects recipients for special CEO rocks, reserved for those who consistently go above and beyond.

Rock recipients gain access to our exclusive “I Rock” swag store, recognized  and are entered for Employee of the Year consideration.

We proudly honor employees who have reached significant service milestones, beginning at five years and continuing in five-year increments. These awards celebrate dedication, loyalty, and the impact our long-standing team members have made over time.

2024 Service Award Recipients

We are committed to supporting the continued education and professional development of our team. Our Educational Assistance Scholarship Program offers financial assistance to eligible employees pursuing degrees or certifications that enhance their role at SVH. We believe in growing together—for our patients and for one another.

Nichole Pas, Director of PR and Marketing, received an SVH educational scholarship in 2025 to support her MBA studies—an experience she describes as pivotal in her career growth:

“The SVH scholarship has been such meaningful support in my professional development. It allowed me to continue my education while staying focused on the work I care deeply about here at SVH. I’m truly grateful to be part of an organization that invests in its people.”

Jamie Hitchcock, Speech-Language Pathologist, was awarded a scholarship to support her pursuit of a doctoral degree—an achievement she says will enhance patient care outcomes and elevate staff training efforts:

“I started working at Snoqualmie Valley Hospital while in the middle of completing a doctoral degree in my field. The administrative team was supportive of my educational pursuits, flexible with my work schedule, supported my research project, and provided financial assistance through partial tuition reimbursement. I look forward to applying the results of my research to improve staff training and patient care outcomes in the future.”

Our Snoqualmie Spirit Team is dedicated to building connection, camaraderie, and fun across our organization. Throughout the year, this team plans and hosts a wide range of staff appreciation events, including:

  • Seasonal BBQs

  • Hospital Week celebrations

  • Themed contests and giveaways

  • Holiday festivities

  • Team-building activities

These moments of celebration are a small way we say thank you to the people who make Snoqualmie Valley Health an extraordinary place to work and receive care.
